HomeInsuranceQts.com is an independent home insurance information resource. It is built from public government and industry data, not from an insurance company or agent, and it does not sell insurance policies or provide quotes directly.

The state, county and town pages on this site present statistics only, drawn from the public sources listed on the Methodology page, such as the U.S. Census Bureau, FEMA, the NAIC and, for Texas, the Texas Department of Insurance.

What the pages contain

Each page shows housing and demographic figures from the Census Bureau's American Community Survey, natural-hazard and flood-insurance-policy figures from FEMA, and a statewide average homeowners insurance premium from the NAIC. Texas county and town pages also list agencies licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance.

The account and reveal feature

On Texas pages, a visitor can create a free account to view licensed agency contact details. Creating an account requires confirming an email address. Signup includes an optional, unticked checkbox that lets a visitor consent to being contacted by partner insurance agents by phone call or text message about home insurance; this consent is never required to create an account.
