We also record your IP address and the date and time when you sign up, when you give or confirm consent, and when you confirm your account. If you check the optional TCPA consent checkbox described below, we record which version of the consent text you agreed to, the time of consent, and the IP address at the time of consent.

Cookies:

We set one cookie, hiq_session, when you sign in. It is HttpOnly, lasts up to 180 days, and is used only to keep you signed in. Cloudflare Turnstile, which we use to block automated signups, may set its own cookies.

How We Use Your Information:

We use this information to create and operate your account, to send you account-related emails (including the confirmation email), and to unlock licensed agency contact details once you confirm your email address.

Service Providers:

We use Cloudflare to host this website, store account data, and run the anti-bot check (Turnstile) on our signup form. We use Brevo as our email service provider to send account and confirmation emails; Brevo also stores your name and email address in our contact list.

Sharing:

We don't sell your personal information. We don't currently share your phone number with any third party. If you check the optional consent box, we or partner insurance agents may contact you about home insurance in the future; we'll only share your contact details with them for that purpose. Checking this box is not required to create an account or make any purchase, and message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text message.

Retention:

If you sign up but never confirm your email address, we delete that account automatically after 7 days. If you confirm your account, we keep it until you ask us to delete it.

Your Rights and Choices:

You can opt out of calls and texts at any time by replying STOP to any text message. You can also ask us to delete your account, as described below.

Account data is stored with Cloudflare and sent over HTTPS; no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Our Commitment To Children's Privacy:

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
